How to Delete Your Account
To proceed with your account deletion request, please follow the steps below. Please note that all your games and trade history will also be deleted if you are using Sim.
- Go to www.investopedia.com
- Scroll to the bottom of the footer page
- Select "Do Not Sell My Information"
- You'll see two options: an opt out form or consent preferences
- Select "Go to Opt out form"
- Select "Web Site or Mobile App User"
- Add all required fields and press "Submit"

Why am I still able to log in if I deleted my account?
We process account deletions based on the email provided in the opt out form. You will need to resubmit the form with your alternate email addresses that you may have used to sign up for an account. If you don't know which email is tied to your username or no longer have access to that email to verify account ownership, please email privacy@investopedia.com with your username and email.
Why do I still receive newsletters if I deleted my account?
The newsletter subscriptions are separate from user access to Simulator or Academy. To opt out of newsletters as well, you can follow the steps below:
